Fusion Combat ID
In today’s battlefield most people regularly interoperate with soldiers using both night vision and thermal imagers. That is why we are focusing our development efforts on combat identifiers that work with both technologies. We consider this to be something of a transition time for the US and our allies. As more and more of our enemies gain access to night vision equipment, we must maintain our strategic advantage. That can be done through the use of more thermal imagers. Markers for night vision equipment will be phased out in the coming years, and fusion combat ID is bridging the gap until that time.
