Our Business Philosophy

The objective of our business is to serve those whose service we can never repay. We would like for the need for all these products to disappear, but until then we will do our small part to help soldiers stay alive on the battlefield.

Why Infrared Tools was started:

Infrared Tools was started because it represented the intersection of our passions and core competencies. The owner was in the US Navy in the nineties (thus our veteran owned status). There his passion for the soldiers and the mission of the US Military grew deep. After the Navy, the owner earned his master's degree in mechanical engineering with an informal emphasis in optics at the University of MD. Later on he would earn an MBA from Regent University. Starting a tech business serving the military was the most logical next step.

Infrared Tools LLC supports the US and Allied military missions by developing accessories that further enable night imaging technologies. Our primary products are combat identification markers and thermal sight calibration tools. Our combat ID products work with night vision only, thermal imaging only, or both (Fusion), and our thermal sight calibration tools are available in two types having complementary characteristics. We have supplied hundreds of thousand of US flag patches and 1” squares to the US Army. We can also supply our products via GSA contract GS-07F-0664W or open requisition.
